The process for reconstructing Sarchosuchus takes a lot of research & time... & counting out vertebrae as well as teeth. I try to get my sculptures as scientifically accurate as possible while leaving a clean, modern look to the fossil upon its finished version. This usually means creating a hand-drawn and cut prototype in a slightly larger modeled version before it is edited multiple times and then refined into a clean-lined form.
