Trilobites sculpted & tooled in vegetable-tanned leather

These two are leather examples of a couple of the earliest arthropods to crawl across the ancient sea floors. They have moveable heads and are each connected by a single waxed hand stitched thread. Tooled throughout, they are both stained with achohol based dyes & have been finished with a waxy leather cream for that fossilized shine... & did I mention they could roll up?
